
Christopher Opolski
Christopher Opolski holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UMass Lowell. He started his career as a process controls engineer and has designed, implemented, and managed complex process controls and instrumentation projects for a variety of pharmaceutical, fine chemical and manufacturing companies. He has also successfully defended the automation program of a major pharmaceutical company during regulatory inspections by the FDA, EMA, and PMDA. Chris is currently a principal at Automated Controls Consulting, providing project management, engineering consulting, and commissioning services to clients utilizing process control and building automation systems.
Chris has been an active member of the ISPE for 20 years, having served in various leadership positions including Boston Area Chapter President, Vice President, Treasurer and Chair of the Social Committee; and was instrumental in the merging of the ISPE New England and Boston Area Chapters in 2013. Chris is currently Treasurer of the Scholarship Foundation.
